Notes: Playing with different medias trying to get back to things that I used to do once upon a time, using the training that I've gained. These are a few pieces that I did over the past couple of weeks.

You've got, clockwise from top, Catwoman, Furiosa, Venom, and Spawn.

These were extremely fun to do and I want to just do a ton more!

Title: Avengers - Black Widow

Notes: There was so much unfortunate controversy surrounding black widow and the toys that came out that I thought she would be the better of all the avengers to paint. I really think that her character is a bit interesting and surprisingly hasn't lost much since her earlier incarnation. She was meant to be a sex appeal character, and yet her outfit was never extremely flattering which I actually think is great. I'm kind of over the ridiculously over-sexual female character. But I think if you've followed my blog at all, you might know that from my designs of Cora and pretty much all the fan art I do.

Notes: Sandman has been awesome so far. I thought it would be great to show one of my favorite characters from the comic. Doing a ton of portraits in the next couple of weeks! Notes: Every day as a warm-up lately I've been going on twitter and whoever happens to be the top post for that time that I look for a portrait of them and use them as a warm-up sketch. It's a fun little exercise and keeps my pencil moving...

Notes: This is some behind the scenes work on the Honor Decoded pieces that I did for my BFA. These are all to be included -someday- in art book that I am compiling that tells the introductory tale of the entire world for the comic that Ashley and I are creating. Hopefully some day we will be able to release the entirety of the project to everyone, until then... more to come!
